What the game stores

Lottodle stores your daily eight-digit guesses and the daily draw in a Cloudflare D1 database. Registered accounts also contain an email address, a salted password hash, and login sessions. Passwords are not stored as plaintext. The game does not currently offer email verification or password recovery.

Leaderboard

Registered players who have submitted a daily ticket appear on that day's leaderboard. Their public display name (or a generated pseudonym) and points may be visible. We do not publish their email address, account ID or guessed eight-digit number. You can change your public name on the leaderboard screen.

Cookies and browser storage

The game uses a cookie to remember a guest ticket and, if you sign in, a session cookie to keep you logged in. Your dark-mode preference is saved in your browser. These are used for game functionality. Clearing cookies may remove access to unlinked guest history.

Advertising

If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, subject to the choices presented through the consent system. Google's data handling is described in its advertising privacy information. If ads are not enabled, AdSense code is not loaded.
